OLD BUSINESS
President Anderson and Vice President Stamper went to Washington spoke with President Wightman and Langford about concerns our local has regarding former president Harthun. President Anderson stressed his disappointment over lack of response from the national board. President Wightman said to draft letter to him and charges will be filed. President Anderson also discussed Laborsoft; President Wightman said it should be done in a week.
President Anderson discussed OC job approval problems, Rich Harold saying may be only 3 jobs instead of 4, approval needs to come from higher level, not posting bids yet.
Operation Family Reunion update- Veterans Day bake sale made $250.00. The After Work Social made $78.00. Plans are in the works to have another bake sale in January this one will also include the district offices and power plants.
NEW BUSINESS
The National has increased the dues by 88 cents as well as an 88 cents increase for the local. For the past 3 years our local has only increased the dues for the National. The AFL-CIO is also asking for an increase from 60 cents to 65 cents. The board voted to increase union dues by 97 cents which will still keep us below the national base average dues of $52.80
On the advice of Don OPatka the board decided to drop the arbitration case pending talks with management.
