The February Board Meeting was called to order
In the absence of Treasurer Memering Secretary Grimes gave the treasurer report. Treasurer report accepted by the Board.

OLD BUSINESS
President Anderson asked Vice President Stamper to give her report on the compensation committee. Vice President Stamper reported still working on money and mileage. Union activity payments are problems that still need to be worked out.
Delegate Dobbins gave his report on the recall of Delegate Malone. The conclusion of the committees report was that the charges were unfounded. President Anderson stated that the committee did a good job and the bylaws were followed.
Delegate Wallace gave his update on the arbitration conference he attended. Delegate Wallace said it was a good conference, he also noted some of the things he notice such as the arbitrator wants everyone to be prepared. He also noted that the arbitrator will sometimes ignore facts and go with past practice in deciding a case.
President Anderson reminded the board to turn in Union Activity for the month of February.
NEW BUSINESS
President Anderson asked for volunteers to help organize the files at the union hall, delegate Darby offered his assistants. This will begin once negotiations are over.
President Anderson discussed two other conferences that are coming up; the first one is the Regions II & III Education Conference to be held in Pittsburg, April 13-15. The second conference is on mediation and will be held in Chicago, May 24 & 25.
President Anderson discussed U W U A Operation Family Reunion –an initiative that aids the families of injured soldiers through the Fisher Houses at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. President Anderson appointed Mike Hoffman to chair the committee. President Anderson is asking members to make a donation, all donations are tax deductible, please send donations to Mike Hoffman. So far we have received $250.00 in donations. President Anderson said he would check to see if we can get a donation from the Cinergy Foundation.
President Anderson said he is looking into setting up a trustee committee to oversee the union funds, the committee will be form from the membership. The trustee committee will be in place of the budget committee.
Vice President Stamper bought 2 gift certificates from Applebee’s to give out as door prizes at the membership meeting.
Delegate Darby made a motion to discuss hours board members spend doing union work. He suggested forming a committee to look at stipends, motion seconded by Vice President Stamper.
Delegate Haubner said he would work on getting President Andersons’ days changed to 4 ten hour days.
Any member who notices new contractors on the jobsite, please contact your Delegate.

There being no further business to bring before the board, Delegate Darby made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Delegate Schuck. Meeting adjourned.
