GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES FEBRUARY 25TH, 2010
EXECUTIVE BOARD

The February meeting was called to order by President Anderson. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Moment of silence for deceased members. Roll call of Officers took place. Randy Darby absent. Financial report was read by Shirley Cockrell. Motion to accept by Lori Warren. A second by Pat Roderick. Motion passed. A motion by Steve Kowolonek to dispense the reading of the minutes. A second by Lori Warren. Motion passed. COMMUNICATIONS Discussed the Dependant Eligibility Audit. Deadline is March 26th.
REPORT OF OFFICERS Shirley – 2009 audit is complete. Phil – discussed the fact that management contacted Jim Anderson to talk about the stats. Pat – met with Chuck Session and Mike Ciccarella concerning inclement weather and the part timers. Steve – safety expo in Columbus. Lisa Gregory is looking into if the company is still involved. Lori T. – the Gas Layout Tech posting has gone up. Discussed who is considered eligible for the position. Walt – grievance on India contractor. Will meet with Don Eckstein and decide if we move forward. OLD BUSINESS Train display grievance – will look into pursuing in the future. Arbitrator for contractors doing feeder inspectors work has been selected. Michael Paolucci. Hearing has been delayed until May 5th to collect more information and review. The Union Hall is in need of some repairs. A motion was made by Steve to replace barriers for lower part of windows by Western Hills Window. A second by Shirley. Motion passed. A motion by Lori Warren to have Tunstell replace spouts, roof, soffits and trim. A second by Steve Kowolonek. Motion passed. President Anderson will get bids for grass cutting. NEW BUSINESS UEIP percentages are 1.09% for traditional and 2.41 for the cash balance. Regional convention – regions 2 and 3 conference in Pittsburgh on May 11 – 14th. Legislative conference in Washington April 25th – 28th. Jim Anderson and Lori Warren will attend. Steve Kowolonek made a motion to adjourn. A second by Walt Dobbins. Motion passed.
