Report of delegates

Shirley Cockrell – reported on level 3 storm duty call out’s for Distribution Design.  Will be meeting with the union and management for a final agreement.

Phil Malone – discussed concerns of shortage of employees due to people taking the severance.  May take several months to fill all positions due to some areas possibly being targeted for outsourcing, therefore, those people that are displaced would have the opportunity to bid on openings within the company.

Walt Dobbins – talked about the possibility of replacing the electric operations clerk from Queensgate.

Steve Kowolonek – discussion took place about job postings of B clerks – meter readers are supposed to get every 5th opening.  Also discussed too many part time meter   readers – in violation of the contract.  Need to get some of these into full time positions.

OLD BUSINESS

By law revisions – everyone should be receiving their packet by January 26th or 27th.  Contacted the post office consumer affairs concerning the 1st mailing that went out in November.  President Anderson is trying to get reimbursement from the post office because of the mixup on the post office boxes.

Kristy Knobloch spoke on the adopt a family at Christmas.  A family from Northern Ky and from Ohio were adopted for the holidays.
