GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES 

JUNE 20^TH, 2007

The June meeting was called to order by President Anderson. 

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 

Roll call of Officers took place.  All were present. 

Motion to dispense reading of the minutes by Randy Darby.  Second by Shirley Cockrell.  Motion passed. 

Financial report was read by Mike Hiltenbeitel.  Motion to accept by Steve Kowolonek.  A second by Shirley Cockrell.  Motion passed. 

COMMUNICATIONS 

A thank you note was received from Pat Gibson for his retirement gift. 

AFL-CIO Labor Day picnic at Coney Island.  Flyers will be posted on Union boards. 

REPORT OF OFFICERS     

Mike Hiltenbeital – audit was done at Union Hall week of June 11 by 3 union trustees and they were very pleased with the record keeping.  This will be done on a yearly basis. 

Phil Malone – expressed concerns over new payroll system rolling out in November and how it will affect jobs in power plants.  Will be setting up a meeting with the Union and management to get more information on this. 

OLD BUSINESS 

Received check from bonding company for the misuse of credit card by delegate Kenny Wallace. 

Union picnic will be on Friday, August 24, from 4:00 – 9:00pm at Hartwell picnic grove.   

Randy discusses the proposal for the compensation for the President and Vice President.  Phil Malone makes a motion to accept the proposal for compensation.  A second by Mike Hiltenbeital.  Motion passed. 

NEW BUSINESS 

President Anderson discussed the positions that are currently open to displaced members of the union. 

Randy Darby makes a motion to adjourn.  A second by Mike Hiltenbeital.  Motion passed
