Walt Dobbins and Phil Malone absent. Meeting called to order by President Anderson. Mike Hiltenbeitel gave the treasurers report. Motion made to accept treasurers report. Motion passed. Membership – 740
OLD BUSINESS
Snow day arbitration scheduled July 20th, 2006. Don Opaka coming to prepare for arbitration. Picnic at the grove at Hartwell – August 5th, 2006. 1:00pm – 6:00pm. Motion of $250.00 each for adult and children prizes. Parking lot estimates – 5,017.00 / 5,935.00 / 8,860.00. Concrete – 5,700.00 Motion by Randy to use M&J Blacktoping. Financial advisor – 3 bids. Christopher Financial Group selected. Motion made to accept.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussed AFL-CIO delegate – dates and who attends? United Way donation and support. Discussion to support United Way thru union, not thru company. Lori made motion not to accept. Jim tabled discussion of United Way donation. Jim to do more checking. National Convention June 27th – June 30th, 2007 in Cincinnati at the Millenium Hotel. Meeting with Mayor Mark Mallory. Talked about outsourcing and family reunion. Asked him to speak at convention. Asked about tax break to company not to outsource. Merger discussion update: Pat stated unsure if we had an agreement since deleting two lines from option 2. Will adhere to contract – rollback and bump out. Window at union hall was vandalized - $386.00 to repair. Randy Darby motioned to adjourn, second by Pam Beckett.
