GENERAL BOARD MEETING 

MAY 24th, 2007

The May meeting was called to order by Vice President Stamper. 

Pledge of Allegiance took place. 

Moment of silence for deceased members. 

Roll call of Officers took place.  President Anderson and Dave Schuck were both absent. 

Motion by Randy Darby to dispense with the reading of the minutes.  A second by Walt Dobbins.  Motion passed. 

Treasurer’s report was read by Mike Hiltenbeital.  Motion by Randy Darby to accept.  A second by Phil Malone.  Motion passed. 

COMMUNICATIONS 

None to report. 

REPORT OF OFFICERS 

Steve Kowolonek -  .5% behind on safety goal. 

OLD BUSINESS 

Books will be audited in June by 3 Union Trustees that were voted on in April. 

Full time/part time ratio is in compliance. 

The bonding company reported that the union will be reimbursed from the misuse of the credit card by Ken Wallace. 

By-law books are complete and will be mailed soon. 

Discussion took place concerning the union picnic dates.  A motion was made by Kristy Knobloch to have it on August 24^th.  A second by Steve Kowolonek.  Motion passed. 

After much discussion on compensation for the President and Vice President, a motion was made by Randy Darby to increase the compensation for both.  A second by Walt Dobbins.  Motion passed.  This vote will take place at Hartwell on June 20^th at the Membership meeting. 

NEW BUSINESS 

Open membership meeting at Hartwell on Wednesday June 20^th, 2007 at 6:00pm. 

Meeting on May 30^th @ 4^th and Main for displaced members due to outsourcing, job eliminations. 

Pat Gibson is retiring on May 31^st.  A motion was made by Lori Stamper to get him a gift for his retirement.  A second by Randy Darby.  Motion passed. 

Motion to adjourn by Randy Darby.  A second by Kristy Knobloch.  Motion passed.
