GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 27TH, 2006

The October meeting was called to order by President Anderson. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Roll call of Officers took place. Those absent were Lori Stamper, Kristy Knobloch and Walt Dobbins. The September minutes were read by Randy Darby. The treasurer’s report was read by Mike Hiltenbeitel. Motion by Dave Schuck to accept the report. A second by Randy Darby. Motion passed. Communications: *AFL-CIO Election flyers *Calling continuously trying to get phone solicitors. *National anti-war demonstration – Cleveland, OH *Bosch Financial Seminar at the Briarwood in Hebron, KY Annual Enrollment for Benefits – October 23rd – November 3, 2006. If no changes are made, you default to the current plan.
Report of Delegates: Pam Beckett – Bake sale for Operation Family Reunion – Nov 10th, 2006. Bill Haubner – AMI in KY. Mike Dorning will get with Bill and Jim to discuss. Company hiring 21 part-time meter readers. Shirley Cockrell – OC’s bidding locations 10/26/06. There are 6 openings. Phil Malone – Company hiring 24 part-time jobs in Call Center. Ongoing issue with call transfer related to “Virtual call center”.
OLD BUSINESS Revision of By-Laws complete. The changes will be sent out early November for the members to vote on. A special board meeting was held to fill the Secretary position due to the resignation of Dianna Grimes due to illness. No one on the board was interested in filling the position. Mailings were sent out for nominations. Kristy Knobloch will fill in temporarily. CPA auditor. Hayes Eddie Auditor has increased their prices. Therefore, a motion was made to go with Rudler and Associates. Motion passed. Motion made to send Mike Hiltenbeital and Steve Kowolonek to class on Quick books. Motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS The Rep/Delegate Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 16th at The White House on Mulhauser Road. Severance packages. List is not definite, still waiting on requisitions to fill jobs. All subject to change. Outsourcing Copy Center. Talking with the company about the LMEC agreement concerning our price vs. contractors wages. Motion to adjourn meeting by Randy Darby. A second by Bill Haubner. Motion passed.
