LABOR 2008
MEMBERSHIP APPRECIATION PROGRAM (MAP)
Purpose: The Labor 2008 MAP (Membership Appreciation Program)
has been established to
recognize the sacrifice and commitment of our active
and retired union
sisters and brothers throughout the 2008 election
season.
Eligibility: Only active and retired union members are eligible
for the Election Day drawing. Only one prize will be awarded to
the union members name drawn. (NOTE: If the same name is drawn
more than once, the drawing will continue until a different name
is drawn.)
Each time a union member volunteers to participate in the Labor
Walks, Phone Banks, Rapid Response, or other designated event,
he/she will be registered, via completion of an entry form, for
a chance to win a prize in the drawing to be held on November 4,
2008.
If the union member brings a Friend of Labor volunteer to
participate, an entry for each friend that volunteers will be
entered for the union member. (Example: If the union member
brings two friends, the member will be allowed to have three
entries for that event.) (NOTE: The Friends of Labor will have
to be of an age that they can communicate and deliver the
message to our fellow union members. Small children do not
count.)
Election Day Prizes:
1st Place: $2,500.00
2nd Place: $1,000.00
3rd Place: $500.00
Saturday Labor Walks: For the regular Saturday Labor Walks,
there will also be a drawing at the end of the walk for two
prizes of $50.00 each. ALL VOLUNTEERS are eligible for this
drawing,including the Friends of Labor.
