GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 16^TH, 2006

The November meeting was called to order by President Anderson. 

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 

Roll call of Officers took place.  Walt Dobbins absent. 

Motion made by Phil Malone to dispense with the reading of the minutes in October, second by Pam Beckett.  Motion passed. 

The treasurer’s report was read by Mike Hiltenbeitel.  Motion made to accept by Lori Stamper, second by Shirley Cockrell.  Motion passed. 

Communications: 

*Safety Bonus – Steve Kowolonek stated that so far we are in line with the UEIP bonus on safety. 

*Salvation Army contacted us to ring the bell for the holidays. 

*By law revisions – please read over them carefully, lots of cost savings to the union.  Due back in by November 30^th. 

Report of Delegates: 

Pam Beckett – Bake sale on November 10^th raised 240.00 for Operation Family Reunion.  An account is set up at the credit union and is tax deductible. 

Bill Haubner – Pay attention to the number of part-timers being hired into the Company.  Should only be a 25% ratio. 

No other report from delegates. 

OLD BUSINESS 

Two people running for secretary position. 

Lavondia Jones and Kristy Knobloch are volunteering to do the Adopt a Family for the holidays.  Randy Darby made a motion to allow 350.00 per family.  A second by Lori Stamper.  Motion passed. 

NEW BUSINESS 

Discussion took place on Annual per Capita.  Randy Darby made a motion to table the discussion until the next meeting.  A second by Lori Stamper.  Motion passed. 

Congratulations to Pam Beckett, Larry Miller and Bill Haubner who are leaving the company at the end of the year.  President Anderson thanked them for all of their hard work serving on the board.

Also congratulations to Pete Blackmon, who has already retired, Louella Vinson and George Thomas who will be retiring at the end of the year.  Thank you to them for all of their support and help with the union. 

Bill Haubner makes a motion to adjourn.  A second by Randy Darby.  Motion passed.
