GENERAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

NOVEMBER 19, 2009

The November meeting was called to order by President Anderson. 

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. 

Moment of silence for deceased members. 

Roll call of Officers took place. Lori Turner and Kristy Knobloch were absent.  

Financial report was read by Shirley Cockrell.  Motion to accept by Steve Kowolonek. 
A second by Randy Darby.  Motion passed. 

COMMUNICATIONS 

United Way sent a thank you note for our donation. 

REPORT OF OFFICERS 

Phil – agreement in Call Center to bring work from Holiday Park.  Will be handled by Lead position.  Want to train 5-7 more people for this position.  Also, the mail room wants to get an X-ray machine to check boxes that come in the mail room. 

OLD BUSINESS 

IT job descriptions were discussed.  Require 2 year degree and 1 year experience.  There will be 3 positions. 

NEW BUSINESS 

Rutler and Associates who does the external audit raised their price to 600.00. 
Consulted with Gary Ruffner to see if this was a fair price.  He agreed that it was. 

Robin Kinney was sworn in as a new rep in Area B. 

Power Plant – 3 full time candidates will be interviewed by HR in the next week. 

Discussion was taken on Christmas families.  It was agreed to adopt a family in OH, KY and IN.  Each of the 3 families are alloted $300.00. 

Randy Darby made a motion to adjourn.  A second by Steve Kowolonek.  Motion passed.
